I decided to screw the boards, and I'm selling my collection on Ebay. Except I've never actually *sold* on Ebay, and the last thing I bought was a bull whip last year (don't ask..).
So, are the fees totally awful? will I loose my ass? fill the newbie seller in before I royally fuck up. Just as an FYI, I'll be shipping domestic only, flat rate $8.95 (as they're the only boxes I have right now). |

*sigh* I will be listing them this weekend and into Monday at the TP. I actually cried this morning when I sat down and told myself I was going to do it. Stupid plastic pieces of crack, fuck I'll miss them, but I need the money badly, and I have nothing else to part with but my collection. So, if you're looking for something, check out my listings at the TP. I'll probably do them in lots, as much as people hate buying in lots, but it's easier for me to ship that way as I can ship flat rate. Paypal only, and shipping to the US only (sorry international peeps, but it's the only way I can ship from my house without having to go to the PO, I don't have a car and my husband doesn't get out of work in time to get to the PO). So yeah, I can't believe it's going to happen, but it is. Adieu ponies. |

I made baked potatos today...for the first time...in the oven. I think they came out really good, crispy skin, nice fluffy insides. The kids loved them, my husband didn't eat any (looser). I swear everytime I go to attempt any cooking on the stove, I being to imagine explosions, fires, etc.
I made brownies a few weeks back, and they came out delicious. I had never made them before, and felt like a moron, but they were good. I have some cake mix and frosting that came in our holiday box from the Navy...maybe I'll give those a try *wicked crazy laugh* |

Ok, so I'm helping Strawberry Fair with some hair colors today, and one of my tasks was to check on BB Steamer. So I go to the playroom where the ponies are kept, and start digging looking for the handsome fella.
Odd...he wasn't in where most of my more expensive ponies are housed. I went looking in some of the boxes I keep extras and ponies who need baths, etc. The little dude is not there.
So I go through all the boxes, all the containers in the room. As I am sure I he's in there, since *all* my pony stuff is in this room. Still nowhere to be found.
Then slowly...panic sets in. I realize he's not the only one missing. I've gone through all the boxes and bins, and he's gone, along with my playsets, my mib G3 winters and a bunch of others. Where the heck are they! I ran to my room, looked through all the stuff there...still nothing.
Then with horror, I realize that they're probably outside in the storage closet. Yes...the outside storage closet, open to the elements. I live in Washington state, it rains here constantly, temperatures are super low, it snowed just a few days ago.
Still, I know that if they're out there, they're in a sealed storage box still. Which means they were never brought in when we moved in. So they should be fine.
I go outside...open the door to the storage closet. And I'm greeted by poop. Yes, poop! as in RAT POOP!! Everywhere! There are no rats in our apt. where the heck!
So I'm thinking, the little bastards burrowed in here for the winter, probably moved in when we did, and we didn't notice. Since the storage thing is outside, it was easy for them to get in there and live in the boxes.
Armed with a golf club, I started digging....just knowing that my precious collection had probably been eaten by the damn rats. Afraid that I would be attacked by said rats for disturbing their home. First 2 boxes I pulled out where completely fine. They were still sealed, and upon opening, nothing had been disturbed and no rats in sight. Still no ponies though.
The third box was obviuosly open, so I left it for last. The 4th box was my magic box, with the remainder of my collection. It was still sealed, and everyone inside was fine, all my playsets and all my ponies. So of course, my panic was over at that point.
Then, I tackled the open box, its clearly where the rats have been hiding. It stinks of it.
As I started pulling on it, I heard it...the unmistakeable sound of rat walking on cardboard. Eeep! they were still in there!
So I convinced the hubby to go and get them out. Stil armed with a golf club (don't want to get bitten by a wild rat after all). There was 2 of the in there, biggest wild rats I have ever seen. They ran out like lightning into the bushes. Everything in that box is trashed.
Most of it is Katryvna's baby blankets, which I'm pissed about. The rest of the stuff was of no real importance.
But anyway...that was my adventure of the day. |

In my hormonal rage...I will be cutting my friends list on LJ. So if I haven't seen you in forever, forgotten who you are, etc, you'll be gone.

The hubby just called me from the base, he made 2nd! yay! finally, after getting screwed year after year and pretty much having given up, he made it, I can't believe it. He sounded super happy and excited, I think this will give him a nice boost in morale and how he feels about work. I really wasn't expecting him to make it again, since we've been bent over and fucked for years now (thanks to the incredibly crappy advancement percent in his rate). Oh shit, I'm so happy, just had to share. |

My starter Unipeg (I don't like the term Winged Uni, so sue me), grows up today! His name is Acid Bath, he is a starter paint, and you can find him in the Karli account. He is in the giant fortress and you can't miss him, he's the only male.
He won't be available for public breeding, only for personal breeding and of course my buddies from LJ and the Ghetto.
